Question by Brooke S: What is a good title for my literary analysis on “The Lottery?”?
My analysis is on Shirley Jackson’s “The Lottery.” It is all about the how she creates irony to enhance the reaction to the final act at the end. What would be a good, catchy title for this paper?

I’ve read this short story before…very disturbing. I would entitle it “Stone Silence” because when you read what the “lottery” actually is, it leaves you speechless and disturbed…at least I was after I read it.
